The first workshop to create ethical and feminist guidelines for the production of sex robots was held on 3rd November 2022 on Zoom. The 5 participants worked together with the help of a Miro Board and discussed scientific findings
The participants were encouraged to think that they are sex robots’ manufacturers. The questions were: “How would you produce a humanoid sex robot?” and “How would you do this from a feminist point of view?”. Those questions were related to the given hypothesis “Humanoid, hypersexualized, female-appearing sex robots could lead to increased objectification of female-identified people.”
For this brainstorming activity the participants could create sticky notes. On those sticky notes they wrote their ideas how to create those sex robots to avoid discrimination regarding the give hypothesis.
There were ten topics to choose from. Those topics are based on the AI ethics from the EU.
